Edward Kisilewich

KISILEWICH, Edward Joseph John - passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at the age of 75 years.

Edward “Scotty” Kisilewich, beloved husband of the late Gail Kisilewich (nee Delisle). He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Michelle Baumhour of Pembroke & Julia Roizman (Amir) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Pearson, Braden Baumhour, Jakob Roizman, Abby Roizman & Sam Roizman. Dear brother of Adeline Helwer (Ed). Predeceased by parents Joseph & Julia Kisilewich (nee Mamchur), and his siblings Joey Kisilewich & Malvena Wood. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Edward was born May 4, 1945 in Selkirk, Manitoba to Joseph and Julia Kisilewich (nee Mamchur). He graduated from Lord Selkirk Regional Secondary School in 1963. On May 4, 1969 he married the love of his life Gail Delisle in Toronto, Ontario. Edward began his 31-year career with the OPP in Toronto, where he was a member of the Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team. After retiring in Napanee, Ontario, he drove a coach bus for Coach Canada where he found great pleasure and relaxation in driving. He enjoyed fishing, music, sports and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved to make people laugh.

Respecting Edward’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
