EICHSTAEDT, Edward (Boicy) Passed away peacefully in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 in his 96th year. Edward Eichstaedt, formerly of Petawawa, beloved husband of the late Evelyn Eichstaedt (nee Behnke). Cherished father of Myrna Crozier (Carl), Petawawa. Predeceased by son Wayne Eichstaedt. Grandpa to Christian & Nathan Sell and Great-grandpa to Carter, Matthew, Kate & Isabel Sell. Brother of Helen Radtke (late Fred), Pembroke and Margaret Mielke (late Edward), Petawawa. Predeceased by brother Edgar Eichstaedt (late Elsie) Petawawa and sister Florence Zadow (late Frank), Deep River. Survived by many nieces & nephews. Special friend of Sister Shirley Crozier. Boicy was a Charter Member of the Germania Club of Pembroke and a life-long member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Petawawa. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Service in St. John's Lutheran Church, Black Bay on Friday, December 11 at 11 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery.
