Yandt, Edna May Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday, November 29th, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Edna Yandt (nee Fischer), wife of the late Albert Yandt. Dear mother of Glenda Yandt, Pembroke; Sandra Lance (husband Denis), Nepean; John Yandt (wife Norma), Thompson, Manitoba; Randy Yandt (wife Tina), Petawawa; and Christopher Yandt, Ottawa. Gramma to Jacquie, Tammy (husband Gary), and David Wallis; Cory (wife Annette) and Kristian Lance (wife France); Mark and Greg Yandt. Great grandmother of Ashley, Kurtis and Autumn; Zachary; Eric and Benjamin. Daughter of the late Gustave and Emma Fischer (nee Nienkirchen). Sister of Doris Sack, Pembroke; Lois Ayres (husband late George "Ray"), Pembroke; Walter Fischer, Pembroke; and Florence Tanner (husband late Joe), Cambridge. Predeceased by brothers Albert, Robert, Lloyd, Ernest, and Norman Fischer; and sisters Martha Emmerton, Mary Fischer and Emma Burger. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Spring interment in Zion Ev.
