Earl Hoelke

HOELKE, Earl – passed away at Marianhill, Pembroke on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the age of 92 years.

Earl Hoelke of Pembroke, former resident of Chartwell Pembroke Heritage Residence, dearly loved husband of the late Edna Hoelke (nee Prange).  Dear father of Daryl (Helen), Kars, Ontario.  Cherished Papa to Kenan (Lisa), Grosse Ile, Michigan; and Simon (Diana), Blackburn Hamlet, Ontario; as well as to great-grandsons Grant, Theodore & Oliver.  Survived by step-brother Weldon Hammel.  Predeceased by father Harry Hoelke, mother Lydia Hoelke (nee Biesenthal), step-mother Edna Hoelke (Hammel, nee Blaedow), sister June Scheuneman (late Harold), step-brother Bevet Hammel (late Esther), step-sister Helen Boisvert, infant grandson Joshua and infant great-grandson Henry. 

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Prostate Cancer Research Foundation or Zion Lutheran Church would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
