Passed away at Carefor on Monday, July 2, 2018 in his 76th year.

Son of the late Christie and Martha Hammel.  Predeceased siblings by Garnet (Arvella), Lois Miller (John) and Wallace.  Survived by sister-in-law Betty Hammel.  Special uncle of Liane Meighen and Murray Hammel.

Visitation will take place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke on Wednesday July 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A funeral service will take place at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Alice on Thursday at 2:00 p.m.  Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.  In Lieu of flowers donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  For those desiring online condolences and donations may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
