Stewart, Douglas Passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Doug Stewart aged 75. Husband of the late Charlotte (Rutz). Partner of Shirley Chaput. Loving father of Lorri (Mark Sauve), Kitchener and Darron Stewart (Jennifer Lamond), Toronto. Pre-deceased by infant daughter Gwendolyn. Proud grandfather of Michelle, Nicole and Ethan. Brother of Irene Gardiner (Mel), Randy Stewart (Darlene), Ivy Girard (the late John) and Rose Binet (John). Brother in-law of Amy Stewart, Donna Stewart, Pauline Stewart, Joyce Stewart, Grace Rutz, Darlene Rutz and Carol Archambault. Pre-deceased by brothers Richard Jr., Al, Melvin, Garfield, David, Murray and Grenville. Survived by Aunt Agnes Lay and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Eganville Chapter, Branch #353 on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 2 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke.
