Dorothy Hackett

HACKETT, Dorothy Rebecca Jane (nee Lethbridge) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at her daughter's home in Westmeath on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 in her 86th year. Dorothy Hackett, born in Clarenville, NFLD on August 16th, 1929, she was the wife of the late Cyril Robert Hackett of Westmeath. Dorothy leaves behind her children Lorraine ( Albert ), Oromocto NB; Fred ( Azilda ), Oromocto NB; Diane ( David ), Westmeath ON; Bob, Westmeath ON; Gary ( Grazyna ), Red Deer AB; and Douglas ( Susan ), Fredericton Junction NB. Dorothy was a cherished and deeply loved grandmother and great grandmother to many. The family would like to thank the many care givers, doctors and nurses for the exceptional and compassionate care they gave to our mother and our family. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT, & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St. Pembroke, on Thursday, September 25th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday September 26th from 9 to 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Pembroke Friday Sept 26th at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Westmeath Union Cemetery.
