EDGE, Dorothy Sophia Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke with family by her side on Tuesday, August 10th, 2010 in her 91st year. Dorothy Edge (nee Biggs) of 234 Broadview Dr., Pembroke, wife of the late Ralph Edge. Dear mother of Susan Murray (husband Breen), Ottawa; Katharine Knott (husband Dr. Verner), Burritts Rapids; and Robert Edge, Ottawa. Grandma Dot to Shannon Mead (husband James), Ottawa; Marc Murray (wife Jennifer), Vancouver; Simon Knott (Dr. Audrey Boros), California; Ashley Knott, London, England; Sashka Edge, Ottawa; and great-grandmother to Madeleine, Cash, Luke and Jack. Daughter of the late George and Esther Biggs (nee Walford). Predeceased by brother Walford Biggs, and sisters Vera Stedman, Grace Remus and Margaret Penney. Dorothy's family wishes to thank Dr. Laliberte and the caring staff of the Pembroke Regional Hospital. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Calvin United Cemetery.
