SPLAINE, Doris Vivian Passed away at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Doris Splaine (nee Robinson) of Pembroke, wife of the late Garfield Splaine. Dearly loved mother of Darlene Bakke (Ken), Kingston; Brian (Sandra), Marilyn, Connie Boudens (Brian), & Darwin, all of Pembroke. Predeceased by sons Larry (Linda) & Michael (Sarah), both of Pembroke. Grandmother of 14 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Sister of Gordon (Verla), Harold (Naida) & Darl (Marilyn) Robinson, all of Beachburg; and Muriel Robinson, Pembroke. Predeceased by sister Velda Severin (late Ronald). Daughter of the late George and Irene Robinson (nee Bennett). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Doris was a long-time member of the Wesley U.C.W. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.
