SCHROEDER, Doris Maria – passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2023 in her 100th year.
Doris Schroeder (nee Behm) of Pembroke, wife of the late Lester Schroeder. Daughter of the late Henry and Rosa Behm (nee Mielke). Predeceased by her siblings Ida Schauer (late Henry), Herbert Behm (late Violet), Elmer Behm (late Hilda), Victor Behm, and Delbert Behm (Clara). Sister-in-law of the late Gordon Schroeder (late Leona), late Gilbert Schroeder (late Rita), late Gilmour Schroeder (Hilda), late Clifford Schroeder (late Loretta), late Ellsworth Schroeder (Arline), late Orma Hein (late Willard), Beverley Nowoselsky (late Martin), late Myrtle Schroeder, late Edith Lenser (late Wilfred), late Elmer Schroeder, late Lorne Schroeder (late Viola), late Beatrice Hein (late Ellard). Special loving aunt to Ron Behm (late Joan) and many other nieces & nephews, great-nieces & nephews and great-great-nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ottawa Heart Institute or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
