LAUGHREN, Doris Roberta Passed away at the Four Seasons Lodge, Deep River on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 in her 92nd year. Doris Laughren (nee Gload) of Deep River, wife of the late Walter Laughren. Dear mother of James Wm. Laughren (Arlene), Corbeil; and Deborah Mecke (Joe), Deep River. Predeceased by son Kirby Laughren. Loving grandmother of Shannon Ryan Laughren, North Bay; Tanya Laughren, Edmonton; Collin Mecke, Sudbury; Julie Mecke, Ottawa; Kyle Laughren, Deep River; and Kelly-Ann Lapping, Deep River; as well as great-grandchildren Abbey & Sydney Laughren; and Kaila, Scott, Devin & Ryan Lapping. Daughter of the late William and Annie Gload (nee Loken). Doris' strong ties to friends and relatives in Ottawa and Portage were paramount in her life. Visitation at the VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 33337 Highway 17 in Deep River on Friday from 1 to 3:30 p.m., and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon.
