Doris Jean Gill

GILL, Doris Jean – passed away peacefully at Marianhill on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 89 years. 

 

Doris Gill of Pembroke, daughter of the late William and Ida Gill (nee Bruce). Sister of the late Shirley Swan (late Ed). Much loved aunt to Christine Scarlett (John), Ottawa, and James Swan, Alice. Special great-aunt to Matthew and Andrew Scarlett. Doris was a long-time employee with Canada Veneers in Pembroke and will be missed by her many friends and former colleagues. 

 

Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., followed by a service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held following the service at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. In memory of Doris, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences/donations may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
