WILSON, Donald John "Don" (Veteran of the Korean War) Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, November 18, 2006 in his 73rd year. Don Wilson of Pembroke beloved husband of Heather Wilson (nee Bucholtz). Dearly loved father of Steven Wilson (Sandra King), Arnprior and Bruce Wilson (Heather Balson), Pembroke. Cherished Poppa to Nicholas & Zachary and Christopher & Amber. Brother to June Steepe, Kingston and Gail Wisman (husband Ron), Toronto. Son of the late Reginald (Rex) and Dorothy Wilson and son-in-law to Helga Bucholtz, Pembroke and the late Edward Bucholtz. Brother-in-law to Gary Bucholtz (Sheila), Pembroke and Jim Bucholtz (Elaine), Lively. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 7 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 until 4:00 and 7 until 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. (As an expression of sympathy donations to the St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated). Members of the Korean Veteran's Association are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. for a service).
