VAN WERT - Donald John Passed away in the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Donald Van Wert of Pembroke, beloved husband of Uliwine Van Wert (nee Nieman). Dearly loved father of Donna Rielly (Wayne), Pembroke; Judy Zandstra (late Hans), Pembroke; Debbie Dament (Wayne), Ottawa; Shelley Morris (Brian), Pembroke and Michael Van Wert, Westmeath. Grandfather of Patrick Rielly (Erin); Bradley Zandstra; Jennifer & Philip Dament; Brittany & Ashley Morris. Predeceased by granddaughter Stephanie Zandstra. Great-grandfather of Bridget & Connor Rielly. Son of the late Arthur & Ida Van Wert (nee Tiegs). Brother of Robert Van Wert (Bernice), Pembroke & Conrad Van Wert (Eileen), Peterborough. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday 7-9 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Spring Interment.
