STEWART, Donald Guy
Peacefully in hospital, Pembroke on Saturday, April 14th, 2007 at the age of 89 years.
Donald Stewart of 504 Nancy Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of 63 years to Elizabeth (Beth) Stewart (nee Dueck). Dear father of Gary Stewart (wife Joan), Deep River; and Dianne Lebreque (husband Richard), North Bay. Grandfather to Jason and Amy Stewart. Son of the late James and Hedwig Stewart (nee Lindeman). Brother of Mona Stewart, Hamilton; Janet Stewart, Pembroke; Ethel Cowley (husband late Ron), Hamilton; Gwen Stewart, Pembroke; Dr. James Stewart (wife Ruth), Pembroke; and Robert Stewart (wife Bertha), Pembroke. Predeceased by brother Clarence Stewart. Donald was a photographer in the R.C.A.F. during World War II and at AECL, and was in track and field in high school and was a member of the Pembroke Little Lumber Kings on the famous team of 1936.
Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Calvin United Cemetery, Pembroke.
