SMITH, Donald M. Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Saturday, August 7, 2010 in his 70th year. Donald Smith of Petawawa, beloved husband of 50 years to Margaret Smith (nee Evans). Much loved father of Carrie Smith (Al), Ottawa; Lynda Smith (Campbell), PEI; Donna Smith, Burlington; Debbie Johnson (Steven), AB; Don Smith (Christine), Gatineau; and Bonnie Smith (Randy), Douglas. Dear "Grumpy" to Tesla; Paschale & Hannah; Derrick, Brandi, & Johnny; Jennifer & Kyle; Amanda, Chelsea, Emily & Michaela; Liam, Madeline & Billy and 6 great-grandchildren. Brother to Bill Smith (Yvonne), Bramalea and Joyce Richardson (Floyd), NB. Son of the late Donald & Winnifred Smith. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. followed by cremation. A private graveside committal of ashes will be held at a later date in All Saint's Anglican Cemetery, Petawawa.
