It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald William Gutzman, peacefully at home on June 10, 2017.

Sadly missed by his wife Linda of 52 years.  Dearly loved and adored by his children Kirk (Jenny) and Krista (Chris) Nestor and grandchildren Tucker, Laura and Stephen. Survived by his brother Melvyn (the late Helen) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Ellard (the late Shirley). Son of the late Alfred and Lena (nee Mohns).

Donald was born in Petawawa and educated in Pembroke. He worked at AECL as a draftsman and carried that skill into the classroom as a teacher at Champlain High School for 25 years.  While retired he enjoyed cottage life, fishing and hunting while his health permitted.

Friends may call at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, June 17th from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  A Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Petawawa on Monday, June 19th at 3pm.
