Born in Ottawa on February 26th, 1923. Loving husband of Gloria May Griffith (nee Moore) for 66 years. Beloved father to Karen Griffith and Kathryn Griffith, both of Ottawa. Loving Grandpa to Janet (Ken) McGee, Sandra (Barron) Gin and Bryan (Jamie) Moodie of Ottawa and proud Great-Grandpa to Chase and Connor. Predeceased by his parents J.A. Leonard and Hannah Griffiths (nee Jessup) and brothers Gordon and Thomas and sister Grace (the late Clarence) Brown. Survived by his brother Reginald (Muriel) of Pembroke and sisters Lois (Elmer) Schauer of Pembroke and Geraldine (the late Orville) Kuehl of Killaloe; sister-in-laws Floella (the late Thomas) of Trail BC, Betty (Raymond) Nicksy of Parry Sound and brother-in law Ranald (Joan) Moore of McKellar. Resting at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service in Wesley United Church, Pembroke on Wednesday at 11am.
