DUPONT, Donald John (Elder of Kinounchepirini, Algonquin First Nation) Left to meet his Creator at his home on Monday, February 7th, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Donald Dupont of 165 Esther Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Rolande "Rollie" Dupont (nee Roy). Predeceased by son Raymond Dupont. Dear father of Diane Matthieu (Graham), Pembroke; Debbie Bucholtz (Darwin), Pembroke; Denise Wolfgram (Philip), Pembroke; Donald Dupont, Ottawa; and Denis Dupont, Pembroke. Loving Pépère of 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Son of the late Jack and Eileen Dupont (nee Lavigne). Brother of Ken Dupont (Claudette), Sudbury. Predeceased by brother Gary Dupont. Don's family wishes to extend their most heartfelt gratitude to Marnie Stunt, Tammy Sandrelli, Dr. Lomie Coleman and Judy Prescott for their excellent care. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Church, Pembroke on Friday, February 11th at 10:30 a.m. followed by cremation.
