CHALMERS, Donald William Passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 7th, 2006 in his 75th year. Don Chalmers of Pembroke dearly loved companion of the late Mable Valliant. Son of the late Bill & Irene Chalmers (nee Hammel). Brother of Violet Bruce (husband Ira), Ottawa; Jack Chalmers (wife Elaine), Petawawa and the late Dorothy Burns (late husband Alfred). He will be sadly missed by Mable's daughters Shirley Kasaboski (husband Ron) of Cobden, Faye Kohlsmith (husband Jim) of Petawawa and their families. Survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday from 7 until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, April 11th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Ross Presbyterian Cemetery, Forester's Falls. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 517, Petawawa are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. for a service.
