SCHWAN, Delmar Dennis (formerly of Schwan's Building Supplies) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the age of 70 years. Delmar Schwan, kind and loving husband to Joyce Schwan (nee Kruger). Caring and compassionate father to Timothy (Candy), Alice; Jeffrey (Sue), Forrester's Falls; and uncle Del to Zachary Frank, Calgary. Gentle and attentive Nappy (grandfather) to Sarah, Zoa, Fred, Stephanie, & Maggy; and Jessica, Andrew, Abigail & Christine. Brother to Lois Brumm (Doug), Verla Brumm (Stanley), Edgar Schwan (Arabela), Ellis Schwan (Joyce), and Diana Yandt (Roy). Predeceased by his parents Fred & Martha Schwan (nee Moss) and brother Donald. Delmar will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke, on Thursday August 21 from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 553 Borne Rd., Alice, Friday at 2:00 p.m. Interment in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
