VERCH, Dayton Albert Passed away suddenly at his home on Sunday, December 14th, 2008 at the age of 80 years. Dayton Verch of 594 Miller Street, Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Gerda Verch (nee Hoffman). Dear father of Kathryn McLaren (husband Egils), Almonte; Carolyn Turcotte, Petawawa; Dorian Verch, Pembroke; Dawson Verch, Pembroke; and Laurie Boudens (Barry), Pembroke. Grandpa to Melissa and Heidi Turcotte; and Sarah Verch. Great-grandfather to Isabella, Dayton and Michaela. Son of the late Albert and Clara Verch (nee Molzahn). Predeceased by brothers Kerry and Eldon Verch, and sisters Vera Patterson and Earla Verch. Survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, l4l Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Service in Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Spring interment in Old Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
