OKUM, Darcy Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2007 at the age of 73 years. Darcy Okum of Pembroke beloved husband of Dorothy Okum (nee Hammel). Dearly loved father of Larry Okum, Pembroke; Marcella Proulx (husband Ricky), Pembroke; and Debbie Mullin (husband Michael), also of Pembroke. Predeceased by daughter Violet. Grandfather of Racquel Proulx (Brad); Tonya Proulx (Brent); Daniel Okum (Julie); April Mullin; and Jennie Mullin. Great-grandfather of Nathan, Aaliyah and Austin. Brother of Ken Okum (wife Angie); Betty Egerdeen/Bender (Larry); Neil Okum (Karen); Sharon Okum; Ezzie Okum (Loretta); Chris Okum (Evelyn); Mervin Okum (Anne); Marty Okum (Ruth); Angie Asmussen (Paul); and Carol Dunbar (Jim). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 2-4:00 & 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Laurentian View Cemetery.
