CYNTHIA DAMENT MacCRIMMON (nee Ziebell)

20 June 1927—20 August 2019

Cynthia passed away peacefully on August 20, 2019 in her home at the Riverview Heights Retirement Residence in Pembroke at the age of 92 years.  She leaves behind her grieving husband Lorne “Larry” MacCrimmon after 73 years of loving marriage.  She was the mother of Scott (Suzanne Adams), Ottawa and two grandchildren Robyn and Colin.  Predeceased by two brothers, Kenneth (late Flo) and Mervin (late Joan) Ziebell.  Cynthia was born, educated and married in Pembroke.  She lived over 50 years in Peterborough, Ontario with Larry raising a family before moving back in retirement to Pembroke.  She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews: Gregory Ziebell (Theresa), Ottawa; Trevor Ziebell (Anne), Calgary; Michael Ziebell (Kimberly), Ottawa; Judith Gillespie (Brian), Paris Ont.; and Terry Ziebell (Kim), Guelph. 

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Wesley United Cemetery, Pembroke on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a luncheon and sharing of memories at Wesley United Church, Pembroke.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
