MCEWEN, Clifford Garry Passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke, on Wednesday, February 18, 2009, in his 91st year. Garry McEwen of Pembroke, beloved husband of Lola McEwen (nee Sharpe). Dear father of Roy McEwen (Margaret), Ottawa; Linda Mitton (Bruce), Pembroke; Mary Nighbor (Lawrence), Kitchener; Bruce McEwen (Bridget), Forester's Falls; Jane Clarke (Tom), Micksburg; and Ralph McEwen (Donna), Pembroke. Grandfather of 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by brother Milton McEwen and sister Iva Scott (late Jack). Brother-in-law of Greta Eckford (late Clarence), Forester's Falls. Son of the late Ephraim and Margaret McEwen (nee Briscoe). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be in Calvin United Church, Pembroke, on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Calvin United Cemetery.
