LEFEBVRE (née Gervais) CLAIRE - Surrounded by the love of her family, Claire passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2015. Born in LaPasse, Ontario, on May 27, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Moïse and Hattie-Mae Gervais. In their 60th year of marriage, Claire is survived by her loving husband Yvan Lefebvre, and her children Danielle Thomas (Ernest) of LaPasse, Guy Lefebvre (Sue) of Toronto, Anne Gervais (Jim), Linda Lefebvre (Ken Suddaby), Francine Rowsell (Wayne) and Denise Lavergne (John Rudzinski and the late Stan Lavergne) all of Ottawa. The best Granny ever to Jonathan Thomas (Lina), Andrew Thomas (Lindsay), Kendra Thomas (Sean), Stephan and Tara Lefebvre, Jamie Gervais (Todd), Charles Gervais (Stephanie), Derek St-Amour, Carolyn St-Amour (Andrew), Luke and Matthew Rowsell, Christopher and Justin Lavergne. Loving step-Granny to Cadence, Selah and Janusz Rudzinsky and Amélia, Paul and Vincent Suddaby. Special great-Gran to Madysen and Gabryela Allard. Claire is survived by her sisters Inez Winter (Ted), Kathleen Gohr (Ray Recoski and the late Bob Gohr), and Ruth Dinn (Gerry Larocque) and brothers Orval Gervais (Joan), Leonard Gervais (Marion) and Patrick Gervais (Elise). Predeceased by siblings Arthur, Douglas and Harry Gervais, Eileen Everett (the late Jack), Cecil Gervais (Anne), Viola Lefebvre (the late Sarto) and Roy Gervais (the late Agnes), and by brothers-in-law Donatien Lefebvre (the late Estelle), Sarto Lefebvre (the late Viola) and Gaston Lefebvre (the late Rose). Aunt Claire (Auntie Flossy) will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 17, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke. Mass of Christian burial will take place at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, LaPasse, on Saturday, December 19 at 11:00 am. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Our lady of Mount Carmel cemetery.
