SCHIMMENS, Christian - Passed away January 3rd 2014, at the age of 26. Christian Schimmens, beloved son of Barry Schimmens (Carole Leclair) and Noreen Joyce (Brian Lemke) all of Petawawa. Much loved brother to Jennifer Dashnay (Steve), Tramore; and Sarah Schimmens (Danny Boutilier), Petawawa and predeceased by brother Bradley. Special uncle to Ava and Violet Dashnay, Tramore. Nephew to Bruce Schimmens (Stella), Moose Factory; and Delores Kohoko, Golden Lake. Grandson to Marilyn Voegtle (Manfred) and the late Ivan Schimmens (Mary Shushack). Predeceased by grandparents Berchman (Berkie) and Carol Joyce. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St. Pembroke, on Wednesday, January 8 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Service will be held at Zion Evangelical United Church, Pembroke at 2:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Zion Evangelical United Cemetery.
