NELSON, Charles Gary Born August 19th, 1932 in Carndiff, Saskatchewan, died peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 8th, 2008. Gary Nelson dearly loved husband of Joyce Nelson (nee Coffey). Dear father of Kimberley Whiteside (husband Dan), Peterborough. Grandpa to grandsons Rob, Liam and Mallory; and granddaughters Kelsey, Clancy and Shannon. Son of the late Albert and Hazel Nelson (nee Plewes). Brother of Huntley Nelson (wife late Lois), Pembroke. Predeceased by brother Sheridan Nelson (wife late Kaye). Brother-in-law of Elvin (Sam) Coffey (wife Diana), Arnprior. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Gary's family wishes to thank Rev. Richard Hall and Rev. Walter von Boetticher; Shelley Moncion (Homecare), Heather Cotnam, Champlain CCAC (Casemanager), Nursing Staff (3rd floor Tower B), PRH, and Drs. Hing, Mottiar, Li, Delbrouck, Musawir and Brandys. Respecting Gary's wishes, his body has been donated to Medical Research. Service of interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
