BARKER, Carolina Anna – Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the age of 88 years.

Carolina Barker (nee Markus) of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late William Barker.  Loving mother of Diana Hayes (Chris).  Fond mother-in-law of Brenda Barker (late Garry).  Cherished grandmother of Denise, Christine, Nicole, Jason, Emma, Eric and great-grandmother of Andrew, Emily, Nicholas, Matthew, Autumn, Alexander and Oliver.  Dear sister of Martin Markus (Theresa).   Predeceased by parents Lorne and Emma Markus (nee Roesler), sons Kenneth, Garry, Robert, grandson Michael Hiscock and brother Everett Markus (Monica). 

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Monday, February 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Funeral Service Tuesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke at 11:00 a.m.  Interment at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in the spring.
