ASHTON, Carole Ann Passed away peacefully at Marianhill on Sunday, September 16, 2007 in her 63rd year. Carole Ashton (nee Jones) of Cobden, wife of the late Arthur Ashton. Predeceased by parents Mary & Percy Winkie (nee McDonald); her birth father, the late Albert Jones (1944); and her sister, the late Sandra Snell. She is survived by her niece Cathy Snell-Chow (husband David Chow), Ottawa; nephew Terry Snell, Pembroke and brother-in-law Rolland Pope, also of Pembroke. Respecting Carole's wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place.
