NIENKIRCHEN, C. Gordon Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, July 28, 2008 in his 88th year. Gordon Nienkirchen of Pembroke, husband of Kathleen Nienkirchen (nee Thompson) and by first marriage the late Martha Nienkirchen (nee Priebe). Dear father of Bruce Nienkirchen and his wife Gloria, Pembroke. Grandfather of Cara Cressman (husband Garth), Waterloo. Son of the late Charles and Martha Nienkirchen (nee Panke). Brother of Louise Cochrane, Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters Laura Nienkirchen, Edna Splinter, Ada Stavenow & Mary Weckworth and brothers Frank, William, Sam, Wesley & Lorne. Survived by several nieces & nephews. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2-4:00 and 7-9:00 p.m. and at the First Evangelical Missionary Church on Thursday from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at the First Evangelical Missionary Church on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Laurentianview Cemetery.
