GIESEBRECHT, Bruce Eugene Peacefully in Miramichi Lodge, Pembroke on Saturday, May 28th, 2011. Bruce Giesebrecht of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of the late Irene Giesebrecht (nee Plotz). Adored father of Stephanie Giesebrecht. Bruce will be missed by his four-legged friend "MacGregor". Son of the late Eugene "Charlie" and Bertha Giesebrecht (nee Loback). Bruce was the last surviving member of his siblings; Alice Giesebrecht, Dorothy Simon (late Cullen), Jean Farquharson (late John), Hilda Raby (late Des), Roy Giesebrecht, Fred Giesebrecht (late Frances), Helen Blanchfield (late Nelson "Red"), Jack Giesebrecht, Erla Simon (late Thain), Richard "Dick" Giesebrecht, Bert Giesebrecht, and Barbara Edmonds (late Mac). Survived by sisters-in-law Theresa Giesebrecht, Joan Giesebrecht, Shirley Giesebrecht and brother-in-law Belford Plotz. Bruce will be missed by his many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. Bruce and his five brothers operated Giesebrecht's Ltd. in Petawawa until their retirement. Bruce was most often found bottling Pepsi Cola in the plant. Bruce was a loving husband, dear father, hockey player and above all, a gentleman. He loved to cook, play bridge, golf, and spend good times with his family and friends. Stephanie wishes to thank the caring and compassionate staff of 1A at Miramichi Lodge. Resting at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in First Presbyterian Church, 257 Pembroke St. W. on Tuesday May 31st at 11 a.m. Interment in Calvin United/First Presbyterian Cemetery.
