Cranford, Boyd L. – With heavy hearts, we celebrate the life of an extraordinary father, husband and grandfather who passed suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the age of 60 years.
Boyd Cranford of Beachburg, formerly of Mount Pearl, NL, devoted husband of Lorraine Cranford (nee Vokey). Cherished Father of Andrew Cranford (wife Kimberly), Toronto and Mark Cranford (wife Stefanie), Beachburg. Poppy and best friend to Judah & Hudson. Loving son of Rita Cranford (nee Higdon) and the late Gerald Cranford of New Harbour, NL. Loyal brother of Garry Cranford (wife Margo), St. John’s, NL and the late Paul Cranford, Halifax, NS. He will be greatly missed but held close by a large circle of family and friends including numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins from coast-to-coast.
Boyd lived a life devoted to his family and is now enjoying life in the presence of his Saviour, Jesus Christ. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. (1 Thessalonians 4:14)
