JURGENS, Beverly Ann (March 4, 1939 - October 3, 2010) Passed away in Bowmanville on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at the age of 71 years after a courageous battle with Cancer. Beverly Jurgens of Bowmanville and formerly of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late Donald Edward Jurgens and long-time friend & partner of the late Adolph (John) Burger. Dearly loved mother to Bruce (Kathleen), Lake Echo, NS; Brenda, Dartmouth, NS; Kevin (Helen), Pembroke; Steven, Venezuela; Glenn (Colleen), Bowmanville; Mark, Sudbury; and Philip (Debby), Pembroke. Grandmother of Paul, Laura, Kurt, Cassandra, Curtis, Cody, Zachary, Dustin, Jessica, Adam, Matthew, & Jessie. A special thank-you to everyone at Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville, Continuing Care Unit and to Dr. V. Ho for their wonderful care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. Service in the Chapel on Saturday, October 9 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
