MCINTOSH-BURGESS, Betty Eileen - passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Betty McIntosh-Burgess (nee Smyth), dearly loved wife of Peever Burgess, and by first marriage, the late William Charles McIntosh. Much loved mother of Lesley Prange (Stuart) of Wellesley. Cherished grandmother of Laurie Prange-Martin (Brad) and Susan Prange. Great-grandmother of Hamish Martin. Godmother to Katie Dainty Chuk. Step-mother to Anita Ming, Elaine Davidson (Myles), David (Laurie), Jeff (Mary), Robert (Elaine), Miriam (Curt) & Charles (Wendy) Burgess. Remembered fondly by Peever's grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Daughter of the late Joseph and Jane Smyth (nee Bell). Sister-in-law to Ann Pennock (Mervin) and Patricia Frederick (Lloyd). Predeceased by in-laws Lyle & Betty Burgess; and Hugh, Norma, Marilyn & Eleanor McIntosh. Survived by several nieces and nephews, including Paul & Brent Frederick. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Petawawa Presbyterian Church, 24 Ethel St., Petawawa on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Please join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments in the church hall following the service.
