Bernice Donna Blimke

BLIMKE, Bernice – passed away peacefully at the Deep River and District Hospital on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in her 86th year.

Bernice Blimke of Deep River, beloved wife of Lyn Blimke.  Caring mother of Douglas Blimke (the late Angela).  Doting grandmother of Scott Blimke (Corrie-Lyn).  Great-grandmother of Abby Rose, Isabelle and Bronson Blimke.  Daughter of the late Marvin and Florence McPherson (nee Townsend).  Sister of George McPherson (Jean), St. Catherine’s and the late Gerald McPherson. 

Respecting Bernice’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Memorial Visitation will take place at the Deep River Community Church on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:30-11:15 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:30 a.m.  Interment of ashes in Deep River Cemetery.  Memories will continue to be shared at the Bear’s Den throughout the afternoon, all are welcome.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Deep River & District Hospital or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.  Online donations/condolences are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
