Maahs, Bernadette (Bernie) August 30, 1921 - September 23, 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Bernadette Maahs (nee LeBlanc) peacefully at Marianhill on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 96 years.

Loving wife of the late Fred Maahs (2002).  Dear mother of Barbara Melanson (the late Ernie), Katherine Dodwell (Harold) and Terry Maahs (Gale).  Loving granny of Glen and Hugh Dodwell; Greg, Jamie and Robi Melanson; Brant, Chad and Andrew Maahs.  Also survived by 14  great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late Narcisse and Elphire LeBlanc (nee Veaudry).  Pre-deceased by siblings Emmanuel, Joseph and Marie LeBlanc, Clarina Vaudry, Eva Biggs, Florence Boire, Aline Morrow, Anne Hoffman, Lollie Christink and Theresa Guilfoil.  

Visitation will take place at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 11:00a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Funeral service in the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Chapel at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.  In memory of Bernadette, donations to Marianhill would be appreciated.  Online donations and condolences may be made at www.mdbfuneralhome.com
