MCCONNELL, Beatrice Beatrice McConnell, formerly of Pembroke, passed away at Country Haven Retirement Home in Beachburg, on Sunday, January 10th, in her 87th year. Wife of the late Alec McConnell. Dear mother of Michael (Judy) and Steven (Brenda) both of Pembroke. Grandmother of Jennifer McConnell, Brian McConnell, Chad McConnell and Amber McConnell. Daughter of the late Fred and Ida Welk (nee Jergens). Predeceased by brothers George (the late Annie), Bill (the late Pearl), Ernest, Edward, Harold (the late Betty) and sisters Freida (the late Bernie) Marklaw, Ruby (the late Victor) Scheuneman and Evelyn Welk. Survived by niece Linda Cassista and several nephews. Friends may call at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday, January 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
