RESMER, Basil "Elmer" Surrounded by the love of his family, Elmer was taken peacefully into the arms of Jesus at Marianhill on Friday, July 25th, 2014, age 88 years. Son of the late Walter and Thelma Resmer. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Eggens). Loving father of Carolyn (Aaron) McCumber, James (Lynn) Resmer, Ron (Debbie) Resmer. Special Papa to Rickey Hebert (Chantal), Kerrie Hebert (Steve), Joel (Lori) Resmer, Jessica (Andrew) Throop, Neil (Amber) Resmer, and Megan Resmer (Derek). Great Grandfather of Logan, Linkin, Connor and Gracelyn. Survived by his brothers Willis Resmer and Rev. Delbert (Lorraine) Resmer. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, July 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Service on Friday at 11 am at Zion Lutheran Church.
