McMahon, Barry James – passed away peacefully at his home, with his loving partner and best friend DonaLee Robinson by his side on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the age of 74 years. Barry J. McMahon of Pembroke, loving father of Lara McMahon and Colleen Morin (Andrew). Papa Bear to Miller & Alabama. Son of the late Michael and Jeannie McMahon (nee Art). Brother of Brian McMahon (Carmen). Barry was a Retired North York Firefighter with 30 years of Service saving many lives. He is a HERO in the eyes of his family, friends and the many acquaintances he's had over the years. He will be sadly missed by so many. Respecting Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. An Irish Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 72, Pembroke on Saturday, January 18, 2020 from 1-3:00 p.m. To honour his 22 year membership in the Legion, a formal Legion Service will take place at 1:30 p.m., followed by words of remembrance.
