YOUNG, Arlyss Lyle (retired principal of Laurentian and Pineview Public Schools) Suddenly at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Arlyss Young of Pembroke, son of the late Floyd and Ruth Young (nee Bowman). Brother of the late Audrey Williams (husband Bill), Belleville. Uncle to Heather vonHolwede (Gary), Spiritwood SK and Holly Pighin, Bowmanville. Great-uncle to Elise & Aidan vonHolwede and Jacob & Zachary Pighin. Arlyss will be sadly missed by his cats Mitzy, Toady & Zero, many friends and the congregation at First Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be held at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, Pembroke on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., followed by cremation.
