RECOSKIE (OKUM), Arlene - passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Friday, July 26, 2013 in her 52nd year. Arlene Recoskie of Petawawa, loving mother of Daniel Okum (Julia) and cherished grandmother of Jayden & Kolton Okum. Beloved daughter of Evelyn (nee Heinze) and the late Elmer Recoskie. Loving sister of Cherylann Mielke (Brian Goldberg), Petawawa; Catherine Nieman (Kevin), Petawawa; Heather Pretulac (Dwight), California; Janet Hagar (Mark), Arizona; Carolin Nagle (Byron), Pembroke; and Cindy Yemen (Danny), Petawawa. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Roger Duhamel and Kenneth Mielke. She will be dearly missed by her many friends. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in St. John's Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
