Arlene Martin

On Sunday, April 19th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, I sadly lost my mother, Arlene Martin. In her final moments she was surrounded by myself, my incredibly supportive friend and the caring doctors and nurses who have treated her in the past. My mother was a very special person with a zest for life that kept her travelling, cruising and vacationing in Florida until just recently. Above all though, she loved her family. She missed being far away from loved ones but she truly loved this area. I would like to thank the amazing caregivers from Bayshore, Access, and Red Cross who cared and looked after my Mother throughout these years, not forgetting the incredible case managers of the CCAC who directed this care. I also want to thank the great gals from the Senior Adult Day Program in Cobden along with the Match program in Pembroke. She will be sadly missed by my sister and I and all those who knew her and loved her. Love to a wonderful Mother, I will miss you forever.
