VanderVelde, Anneke – passed away suddenly, yet peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 in her 95^th year.

Anneke VanderVelde (nee Stienstra) of Glen Hill Terrace, Long Term Care, Whitby, formerly of Pembroke and Beachburg, wife of the late Adam VanderVelde.  Dear mother of Hessel VanderVelde (Audrey), Renfrew; Arnold VanderVelde (Jill), Kingston; and Theresa Van Manen (the late John), Oshawa.  Grandmother/Beppe of Mandy, Shawn (Lisa) & Tyler (Anik); Justin (Sarah), Derek (Jaime) & Kristy (James); and Tim, Kimberley (Adam) & Jamie.  Great-grandmother of Chloe & Cooper; Lucas & Anneke; Amélie; June; Emma, Madie, Clarissa; Abel & Violet.  Daughter of the late Otto and the late Tryntje Stienstra.  

 Visitation will be held at Zion Christian Reformed Church, Pembroke on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m.  Spring Interment in Beachburg Union Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations to Dementia Society of Ottawa & Renfrew County would be appreciated.
