MACKINNON, Angus (Cdn Forces Sgt - Ret'd) Passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Angus MacKinnon of Petawawa, formerly of Point Prim, P.E.I., dearly beloved husband of 45 years to Dianne MacKinnon (nee Cobham), formerly of Saint John, NB. Survived by 3 children: Lori Ann Jones, Victoria, BC; Katherine MacKinnon, Petawawa; and Mark MacKinnon (Karen McLarney), Guelph; and 6 grandchildren: Erik MacKinnon, Vancouver, BC & Samantha Jones, Cold Lake, AB; Sarah & Jacob MacKinnon, Petawawa; and William MacKinnon & Robert McLarney, Guelph. Also survived by 2 brothers: John & Neil (Wilma), Point Prim, P.E.I.; 2 sisters: Florence Kelly (Blair), Stratford, P.E.I. & Evelyn Large (Lowell), Point Prim, P.E.I.; brother-in-law Allan Cobham (Pamela), Toronto; and 4 sisters-in-law: Nancy Larouche (Yvon), Shipshaw, PQ; Christina Leblanc (Arthur), Oromocto, NB; Heather Chaplin (Dean), Eastern Passage, NS; & Anne-Marie Vail (Rob), Saint John, NB; as well as many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Donald and Lavinia MacKinnon (nee Bishop). Respecting Angus' wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 2 p.m. until the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 4 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.)
