MICHAELIS, Alvin Robert - passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Monday, February 11, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Alvin Michaelis of Pembroke, dearly loved husband of Muriel Michaelis (nee Budarick). Dear father of Betty Ann Charbonneau, Ottawa; Robert Michaelis, Beachburg; and William "Bill" Michaelis, Pembroke. Grandpa to Katrina Charbonneau & John "J.J." Charbonneau, both of Ottawa; and Great-Grandpa to Codie, Madison, Jackson, Andrew & Preston; and Sonya & Anthony. Son of the late August and Rachel Michaelis (nee Murphy). Predeceased by sister Hazel Schutt (late Lavergne). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Wednesday from 2 to 4:00 and 7 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Zion Evangelical United Church, Pembroke on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Rosenthal Wesleyan Cemetery.
