Alvin Lavigne

Lavigne, Alvin Osborne - passed away Thursday April 26, 2018 in his 86th year.

Alvin Lavigne of Pembroke, husband of the late Elizabeth Benkhe (nee Stoodley).  Son of the late Lawrence & Myrtle Lavigne (nee Peever).  Predeceased by 2 brothers, 6 sisters and step-children Marjorie Strang, Beverly Gagne, Robert Benkhe & Jackie Benkhe.  Alvin is survived by his sister Gladys Mindel, step-daughters Elizabeth Kuehl, Donna White & Pat McGrath and friend Orma.  He will be missed by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Monday April 30, 2018 from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.  Spring Interment in Wesley United Cemetery.  Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for a service at 12 noon.  (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Wesley United Church, Marianhill or Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.)  Online condolences and donations are available at www.mdbfuneralhome.com.
