ZOSCHKE, Alfred Herbert - passed away peacefully at Marianhill, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in his 92nd year. Alfred Zoschke of Pembroke, husband of the late Elsie Zoschke (nee Jonas). Dear father of Brenda Tromp (John) and Arlene Ling (Mark), both of Pembroke. Grandfather of Jeffrey Tromp (Yasmin), Christopher Tromp (Laura) & Rebecca Rogerson (Matthew); and Nathan Ling, Laura Weedling (Jason), Matthew Ling (Tammy) and Kristin Ling. Predeceased by grandson Philip Tromp. Great-grandfather of Noah & Karina Ladak-Tromp; Carter, Evan & Owen Tromp; Aaron Rogerson; Jeramie Mathieu; and Chloe Ling. Brother of Elsie Connors (late Gordon); Frieda Biesenthal (late Victor) and Myrtle Gust (late Elmer). Predeceased by brothers Arthur, Lorne, Gordon, Verner & Andrew Zoschke and sister Esther Mielke. Survived by sister-in-law Idella Zoschke. Son of the late Reinhold and Hilda Zoschke (nee Kielman). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Friday from 2 to 4:00 & 7 to 9:00 p.m. (Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 72 are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home for Service Friday at 7:30 p.m.) Funeral Service will be held in Zion Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke.
