Laird, Albert Bruce "Bert" (CD) (Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72 member) (Member of the Petawawa Lions Club) Albert "Bert" Laird passed away with his family by his side in the evening of Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Marianhill, Pembroke in his 85th year. Loving husband of Hanne Laird (nee Jensen). Dear father of Kenneth Laird (Lisa), Stephen Laird (Kari) and Heidi Laird. Proud grandfather of Gregory (Jessica) and Bailey Laird; Morgan and Darcy Laird; Brittany and Jacob Ewing. Great grandfather of Olivia and Emma Laird. Dearest friend of Jack and Jane Kinney of Petawawa. Special thanks to the staff at Marianhill for all their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 6-7:00 p.m. A memorial service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch #72, Pembroke or to a Military/Veterans Support charity of your choice would be appreciated.)
