FLEMMING, Albert E. (WW II Veteran) - passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, August 2, 2014 in his 90th year. Albert Flemming of Petawawa, reunited with his beloved wife Leona Flemming (nee Valentine). He will be sadly missed by his son Rory Flemming (Norma), Saskatchewan; his daughter Donna Flemming, Ottawa and his son Mario Flemming (Sylvia), Alberta; as well as his sister-in-law Mary. Predeceased by his parents Thomas & Ada Louise Flemming (nee Wall), brother Thomas and sisters Bernice & Isabelle. Loving grandfather to Brad (Amy), Rachel, Christina and Lisa; and great-grandfather to Reece. Visitation will be held at the MALCOLM, DEAVITT & BINHAMMER FUNERAL HOME, 141 Renfrew St. Pembroke on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 7 to 9:00 p.m., and on Friday after 10:00 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 12:00 noon. Interment in Pembroke Bible Chapel Cemetery. Members of the Masonic Lodge are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Thursday for a service at 7:00 p.m., Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br 517 are requested to assemble at the funeral home on Thursday for a service at 7:30 p.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Carefor Pembroke would be appreciated.)
